Oh, how I love new babies! This newborn session was photographed in-home in Calgary and was half posed and half lifestyle. The posed baby photos were taken in the master bedroom which had the best window light. The lifestyle shots were taken in the nursery.
It was fun to mix the two styles together for this shoot and it created a very relaxed atmosphere. When baby was settled and sleeping I shot the posed photos. When he was awake and needed a feeding we moved to the nursery where I had mom and dad snuggle him tight. I love the end results and so do mom and dad.
Baby Harley was born in late September so I mixed in some subtle fall accents and kept my colour scheme warm and cozy.
